ASUO passed two resolutions during their weekly senate meeting. One prohibited future ASUO events from conflicting with the Native American Student Union Mother’s Day Powwow event. The other was a letter to Rep. Val Hoyle, urging her and her office to help support ASUO’s attempts to hold the University of Oregon accountable for druggings and assault on campus.
In a recent report from the American Lung Association, Eugene-Springfield was ranked fourth for poor air pollution.
